Why we should do a journal?
Hello guys!
Do you love doing some journaling on your notes? Or do you give some space of times from your day to reflect your day by journaling? If the answer is yes, so do I.
I have had the habit of journaling since I was seven or eight years old. But, it was going to be more intense from junior high school. Usually, when I got mad about something or when I got really stressed about something. What I would do is started journaling. Not always, like every day, but I feel like doing journaling can be the way to release all the emotions that I have.
To be honest, I write this article because several days ago, I found my old Journals. It was quite embarrassing to read that again. Because, I was so immature and not knowing what I was writing and my journals were full of best friend conflicts, love stories, and just typical teens problems. But, at some moment, I realized by reading that notes back helps me to evaluate what I have been facing. So, It was quite embarrassing but at the same time, I was proud knowing that my self is growing.
Some people do their journaling by some rules, like “write three things that you are grateful for today” or “write some quotes every single day”. But, journaling means, you can write whatever you want. Like me, I don’t have any rules,I just write some paragraphs about that day and try to reflect on what problems I am facing and how to solve them.
If you feel that journaling will take much of your time, the answer is not. You can do journaling for just five minutes or ten minutes. You can set up how long you would like to spend on journaling. But trust me, It will help to evaluate your day and looking your problems from a different perspective. The good thing is it will benefit you to solve and find the best possible solution.
So, give it a try!
Hope you doing well and see you soon! love!
