I’m sorry guys for not posting literally anything for a few weeks. But, I’m not gonna leave you before December comes! So, here we go!
December is coming round!
For me personally, December is a month for reflection, evaluation, planning, and a bit of relaxation. Why? Because we are gonna move to the next year and planning a “new beginning of the year”
So, here I’m going to be talking about “Preparation for December for Preparing 2022”
Wow, so, basically I’m gonna list what kind of preparation I’m gonna do for preparing 2022 in December :) There we go!
Evaluate my 2021 Resolution
Set your 30 to 45 minutes to evaluate what you’ve been doing so far. Write down things you achieved and not achieved and WHY (that’s important). So, with evaluating my 2021 resolution I can analyse why “these things” didn’t work and what should I do for 2022. So you can make a new strategy to achieve those goals in the next year.
Write down what I want to achieve in 2022 (new resolution)
There are two things that you can write on your resolution. First, your new goals, and second, is your goals from the last year that you haven’t achieved.
One thing that I wanna highlight here is, you can put everything, but you have to make sure that it is measurable.
I read a book by Angela Duckworth called GRIT and the book pretty much informs you how to achieve your goals by turning them into smaller goals and smaller and smaller until we can call it, every day to do list. Keep it simple!
What I mean by “making a measurable resolution” is, for example, if you wanna build a company. In the year that you are making that resolution, you are still a first-year student at uni. It will be pretty impossible if you write that you wanna have a company the next year. Why? because you have to break that dream down to a small goal. Like, if my dream is I wanna have a company, so next year, I will learn how to start a business by joining a course. In the next two years, I will open a business by reselling some products. When I have enough money, in the next three years I will open my own company. And so on.
So, keep your resolution, simple, measurable, and enjoyable. That’s it!
Grab your journal
I don’t know whether you are a journaling person or not. But, trust me, please guys, grab your journal, your phone notes, your sticky notes, or everything you have. (but a book journal is highly recommended) and make a plan. Turn your evaluation and your resolution (in points 1 and 2) into a plan.
Open your calendar. Set up your time goals. when what, and how.
What I want to achieve, When I want to achieve that in a year, and How to achieve it. That’s it, break down your resolution guys!
Believe me, it sounds pretty complicated and boring. But, promise me, if you evaluate your 2021, you learn, and you plan, that next year will be a better year for you.
Making a time capsule!
It’s so simple. Just grab a piece of paper. Do journaling, how do I feel in that year, what I was grateful for, what dreams, what difficulties, people that I was grateful for, family, friends, everything guys. It’s just about personal.
Write and keep it, you can also decide when you want to open it. Maybe a year later or two or three. It’s all up to you.
But why? because, I think, by making that journal capsule you will be more grateful for your life and what you have when you open it. :) because, grateful is the key to a happy life, right?
Turn it to “to-do list” in December!
Okay, now, chop-chop! December is coming round, set what date in December that you are gonna make from points 1 to 4.
Week 1 point 1 and so on until point 4. That’s pretty easy, right?
Please, please guys, maybe 2021 is not the best year because we have a pandemic but I hope that next year will be a year of a new beginning. Stop being afraid! Let’s move and learn together! I will update my December prep too, InsyaAllah, byeeee~
Quick update:
Hectic, a lot of things to do in November but November is kind of wet, love it!
Hai guys, I told you several weeks ago that I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone. and guess what, I did it. As I was expecting, it was not enjoyable and I’m still struggling with it. But, when you feel uncomfortable, sometimes it means you are improved, and yeah, moving and trying always feel uncomfortable. How about you?
